She's only 14 months! She'll get there.

GlitterySkulls · 29/03/2012 08:22

if it's a) then it's cute, and if it's b) then oh dear, but it could be worse Grin

We were reading A Squash and a Squeeze yesterday and my 12mo pointed at the old man, who has a really long, grey beard, and shouted 'Mumma!'.

Hmm

Haha! I too was called milk for a long period of time. My mother was a very clear Granny , DH was wuvwey daddy & I was MILK said in Gestapo tones.

Now at 26 months (& for some time) have been mummy, mum, best mum in tha world, gorgeous mum etc (depending on what she's after!)

JarethTheGoblinKing · 29/03/2012 09:13

Don't worry... you'll be called 'Muuuuuuuuuuum?' in a few years time.

blizy · 29/03/2012 09:15

She is being cruel and has gone straight from toddler to teenager.

My teenager has a special meh teenage face which always makes me laugh

NiniLegsInTheAir · 29/03/2012 09:32

My 14 month old calls me Nana. Apparently I look old Sad

Goldrill · 29/03/2012 09:34

I was reading to DD (16mo) the other day and got a "blah blah blah blah". Well you chose the book!

RevoltingPeasant · 29/03/2012 09:47

DN calls SIL 'Bob'. She totally knows, too: she'll look really sly and go 'Bob' in this deep, sepulchral voice...... Grin

scaryteacher · 29/03/2012 10:06

I am the proud possessor of a 16 yo ds, and I have to tell you that 'meh' is probably the least of your worries in what you are called.

AKMD · 29/03/2012 10:08

At least she recognises you as her mum. DS (2yo) is going through a phase of randomly adopting strangers to be 'my mama' when we're out and about, which is rather irritating. The adoptees love it of course Hmm

biddysmama · 29/03/2012 10:24

my 19 month old calls me... nothing, i have no name, he can even say "gammar" for grandma but i have no name :(

ShowOfHands · 29/03/2012 10:29

My dd from about 14 months called my brother Auntie Chicken.

Rude, thoughtless little beggars aren't they?

MumbleMumm · 29/03/2012 10:33

I'm known as Ummmm.

IAmBooyhoo · 29/03/2012 10:35

Grin @ auntie chicken! that is class.

i was meh for a long time and then mama and more recently mameee baby Confused

Mrsjay · 29/03/2012 10:38

Maybe she is feeling a little MEH today and letting you know how she feels Grin

StopSwearingNagoo · 29/03/2012 11:39

Ha ha show, my DS had an Uncle Snail Grin
