To go to a Spa day but not have a treatment?

Ive got a free spa day at my fave local spa from a newspaper coupon. This just includes use of facilities for the day.
They sent me a list a treatments but there is nothng under £35 (for a 25 min treatment).
So i dont really want to pay that much, im a bit poor this month plus im really good on skincare and cleanse, tone and moisturise every night, exfoliate once a week, hair treatment once a week, osteopath every week, aromatherapy massage when necessary (£15 for an hour), and dc gives me a pedicure every fortnight.

AIBU to not pay fir a treatment and just enjoy the day using the pool etc and lounging round reading trash?

Do it - that sounds great!

Not unreasonable at all! I've often paid for spa days to just use the facilities and have never had a treatment.

I think that is absolutely fine.

I hope you have a great time!

YANBU, enjoy!

I've been to the spa at Center Parcs, and TBH lounging/swimming and steaming was more than enough for me. Don't like strangers poking/carressing me.

GavisconJunkie · 28/03/2012 19:37

YANBU - I do it all the time.

littlemissnormal · 28/03/2012 19:40

YANBU, we did it at Center Parcs last Sunday.

I work in a spa hotel and loads of people have spa days without booking treatments. I would not bat an eyelid whether a treatment was booked or not.

YANBU at all. I have a vair posh uncle who has membership of the local 5* hotel (it has a helipad Shock) for "corporate entertaining" endless golf he often invites my mum and/or me to use the spa bit to use his guest passes up - and there's nothing under about £100 there! Needless to say, we don't bother with treatments...
