to think if you're on facebook, you've probably been on email too?

Have asked someone a simple yes/no question via email.

Haven't had a response but have seen them commenting/liking/posting on facebook.

I combine snooping checking my facebook and checking emails at the same time and thought most others would too.

Is this not the general consensus?

I rarely check my Emails tbh.

BrianButterfield · 23/03/2012 17:36

I often check FB on my phone in an odd moment - waiting in a supermarket queue or other dull points of the day - and don't necessarily check my emails at the same time.

Catsmamma · 23/03/2012 17:37

I usually do but sometimes I forget to look at my emails. Also if I have left an email open the wee tab does not update if you have new mails and so i don't look!

And i can fb on my phone, but it's more tedious to check emails.

Newmummytobe79 · 23/03/2012 17:38

oops! Blush

I will stop wondering and contact them via facebook!

:)

Maybe but not necessarily.

Hulababy · 23/03/2012 17:39

If I have forgotten to turn notifications/fetch oon for my emails I often forget to check them. The are generally only off if I have been away though (I turn fetch off whilst abroad),

but i do check Fb and email totally seperately if on my phone.

valiumredhead · 23/03/2012 17:40

I only check my emails about every 3 days.

KatieScarlett2833 · 23/03/2012 17:40

I only check my e-mails once when logging on, then don't bother.

BusinessTrills · 23/03/2012 17:40

What's wrong with people - don't they know you are supposed to look at your emails at least 5x a day?

ABigGirlDoneItAndRanAway · 23/03/2012 17:46

I have two email addresses, on one of them the emails come to my phone but the other one doesn't and I'm rarely on the PC to check it so it can be a few days but its usually full of spam anyway.

usualsuspect · 23/03/2012 17:47

Why don't you ring or text the person ?

Acekicker · 23/03/2012 17:49

meh - I have many email addresses, some get checked more often than others. I also read emails whilst on the move, think I'll respond to them when I'm back at a computer and then can't be arsed forget...

thisisyesterday · 23/03/2012 17:52

i have 2 e-mail addresses. one i check most times i'm on the PC. the others less often.

if i am using my phone to check FB I never look at e-mail

oldraver · 23/03/2012 17:56

I tend not to bother with my emails unless I am waiting for something, hence 500+ when I last looked

ddubsgirl · 23/03/2012 18:12

i have 3 emails addys that i use for different things, the person may just use that addy to sign into fb but not for emails.

mumeeee · 23/03/2012 19:07

I'm on Facebook nearly every day but don't check my emails very often.

DaffodilsAreMyFav · 23/03/2012 19:13

I'd be like you in this respect Newmummy - check e-mails, then immediately have a look on FB, if theres time.

SwedishEdith · 23/03/2012 19:17

Why don't you just send a message via FB? Much easier

SwedishEdith · 23/03/2012 19:18

I have 2147 messages in my email atm- nothing personal any more

catgirl1976 · 23/03/2012 19:19

Depends - they might be on facebook on their phone etc

Hopandaskip · 23/03/2012 19:24

Sometimes I don't answer questions right away if I want to think about it for a little bit.... often that is the case even if it is a simple question.

Kayano · 23/03/2012 19:36
