with deficit.
Seems to me that people with children are being hit most. Child benefit and tax credits are disappearing for many families.
Plus current working population are having to work longer than people currently retired.

who is not weight?

Women in their mid to late 50s have had their retirement age changed from 60 to 66. That's roughly a 15% extension to their working lives with only a few years notice. Not much time to rearrange retirement plans/ pensions etc.

V unfair.

pensioners rely on annuities and interest on savings which are both low so we can all afford our mortgages & we dont have a housing crisis.

i would say they have been suffering to hlep the rest of us for a few years now. also how many 60+ yr olds went to uni?

It is evident that single parents are hated by this government, this whole idea that one person can earn a lot less than a couple but will lose out is ridiculous. Although I'm far from earning anything realistically good so I'll have to make do.

Agreed soverylucky, the baby boomers (sp?) did very well for themselves and we'll be paying for that, as will our children and probably grandchildren. It wasn't so much the money as the mismanagement of it by successive governments and businesses that meant the rest of us won't benefit.
