...to think this HAS to change, MNHQ?

It has come to my attention just recently that certain posters (not all, but there are a select few who are spoiling it for everyone) are not finding me funny. This goes against the spirit of MN and is sending a really negative message to the internet at large.

This is a serious and hurtful issue, and I think we should perhaps think about how this is making new posters feel. If we allow not finding me funny now, who knows the long-term impact this will have on the website as a whole? Where will it end?

MNHQ- can we perhaps include this in the Talk guidelines? It would save a lot of misunderstandings and hurt feelings, and it would just make things a lot clearer for new posters if they realised that finding me funny was, in fact, compulsory.

Surely it would make MN a better place- and who doesn't want that?

Saggy no you don't! Not at all. Aww mate :(

lesley33 · 20/03/2012 15:44

Saggy no you don't.

Pagwatch · 20/03/2012 17:08

No no no no no no no!
No, not at all Saggy!

I was just joking. We were on a thread the other day, I was saying I was being grumpy, you said you were too - you posted you were not feeling great. I said you were allowed....
Ring any bells?

Just being flippant about that. That's all.
Sorry

Pagwatch · 20/03/2012 17:10

Now I am worried I have remembered wrongly.

This is why I never name check anyone. Ever.

Pinot · 20/03/2012 17:11

Ohhh it was Paggys thing? She's only joshing, Saggy love. Sorry I didn't spot the link earlier, I would have corrected it. Paggy doesn't have a bad bone in her body. She's like Dorothy in Oz, or the complete opposite of Katie Price.

Paggy is the Anti-Price.

Pinot · 20/03/2012 17:12

I daren't look back up the thread or I'd have to see that awful HAHAHA post that made me feel all queasy.

Stratters · 20/03/2012 17:14

So many flibberts, so little time to gibbert them...

Anniegetyourgun · 20/03/2012 17:25

You all SUCK. And not in a good way.

(Is that better?)

lesley33 · 20/03/2012 17:25

Please, everybody, I'm fine, honest. I was only being silly up ^^ there, and I'm really sorry I made poor Paggy feel bad! I'd completely forgotten about being on a grumpy thread with her. I'm really not offended, at all, and I wish I'd remained in obscurity instead of opening my mouth and causing a ruckus! Blush

And I have been right grumpy recently too!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 20/03/2012 20:21

I shouldn't have posted a Sad face, I should have done Confused or something instead!

lesley33 · 20/03/2012 20:29

Don't worry! Its really hard to judge here sometimes if someone is genuinely upset or joking around. I always post a Smile if I think it could be in doubt. Although in rl I'm not a fan of emoticon's, they can help here.
