...to think this HAS to change, MNHQ?

It has come to my attention just recently that certain posters (not all, but there are a select few who are spoiling it for everyone) are not finding me funny. This goes against the spirit of MN and is sending a really negative message to the internet at large.

This is a serious and hurtful issue, and I think we should perhaps think about how this is making new posters feel. If we allow not finding me funny now, who knows the long-term impact this will have on the website as a whole? Where will it end?

MNHQ- can we perhaps include this in the Talk guidelines? It would save a lot of misunderstandings and hurt feelings, and it would just make things a lot clearer for new posters if they realised that finding me funny was, in fact, compulsory.

Surely it would make MN a better place- and who doesn't want that?

Well I for one think it's disgusting that Tethers "humour" is allowed to go unchecked.

I propose to form a group highlighting the gross unfairness of her forming a campaign of awareness.

My first action in the war against awareness will be to strip naked outside greggs covering myself with fruit shoots and pom bears.

We aim to please.

tethersend · 19/03/2012 22:45

Thank you, Rebecca.

This may go some way towards addressing the issue.

I look forward to hearing from the campaigns team. I expect a sticky will be along soon.

It's humbling really.

S&B. I need you.

(pat pat there there and all that guff)

CervixWithASmile · 19/03/2012 22:58

The thing is, Tethers, as someone who is chronically unfunny, I find this extremely offensive and politically incorrect. I also have close family members who are also extremely unfunny and they would be very hurt to read this.

It is 2012 and being funny is no longer an acceptable term and I can't believe you don't know that, it's extremely derogatory to those, who through no fault of their own, are not.

usualsuspect · 19/03/2012 22:59

tethers is too busy being not funny for S&B theses days.
