I just don't get why anyone would join a forum, then try to change it. It doesn't make sense. I have been on other forums that didn't suit me (not enough swearing and straight-talking ) so I came here.

For this reason I ignore those threads that preach about swearing/ straight-talking, sorry for your bubbas yadda yadda, as I can't think why anyone would post such, except to try to wind everyone up. And I am wound up enough on a day to day basis, thanks!

Clearly I've missed something, which is a shame. As a bit of an old fogey myself I find the fact that "Ladies, please refrain from swearing" is so last century but one, strangely comforting. Some things go on for ever, like mansions, dinosaur bones, Rich Tea biscuits, and other curiosities which undoubtedly exist but don't have anything to do with my life in any meaningful sense.

Personally, I tend to swear most when playing violent computer games. What?
