...or merely childish? :)

He did it three times.

This happens in our class all the time....someone always sniggers but most of us are just thankful it wasn't us :)

JennyPiccolo · 13/03/2012 21:25

used to happen to one guy in my yoga class, dead loud and he'd go 'WWOOOFT! EXCUSE ME!!!'

He turned up on big brother not long after. it's a slippery slope from yoga-farting exhibitionism to full national telly exhibitionism.

SweetestThing · 13/03/2012 21:25

I did my best to stifle my giggles, but not very successfully!

I did have a couple of anxious moments when I regretted having lentil soup for lunch.....

mickeyjohn · 13/03/2012 21:31

I teach Pilates....it happens ALL THE TIME! I just carry on talking and pretend I don't hear it....

Katiekitty · 13/03/2012 21:35

I had the same when I used to do yoga.
Tried hard to stiflle the giggles
Though as Pinner says, much is the relief that it aint you

V funny thread to get wind of here Smile

SweetestThing · 13/03/2012 21:39

I always find people breaking wind funny , although DH is doing it a lot recently and that's not funny. At all.

KeepingAwayFromTheJoneses · 13/03/2012 21:44

This is why I haven't tried pilates.

KatieScarlett2833 · 13/03/2012 21:47

Snoring loudly during Yoga relaxation is the best

everyone trying their best not to be immature and laugh audibly

not very relaxing but hilarious nonetheless

rhondajean · 13/03/2012 21:49

Thank god DH doesn't do yoga or Pilates..he's bad enough as it is!

fuzzpig · 13/03/2012 21:53

Is Pilates a known wind-releaser then?

Avenged · 13/03/2012 22:00

YANBU. It's such a ridiculous noise, you can't help but laugh.

Don't worry about it though, as I'm sure the queen is partial to the odd sly parp on the royal cushions. She probably blames it on the corgis too (or Phillip).

CointreauVersial · 13/03/2012 22:06

Fuzzpig - yes, it is. Especially all those moves that involve effort with your legs akimbo/over your head.

Our Pilates teacher used to call out "let the wind blow free!" when anyone let rip - then you didn't feel so bad, if it was you not that it ever was me

wigglybeezer · 13/03/2012 22:09

Oh no, just realised I had refried beans tonight and have a pilates class tommorrow morning!

SweetestThing · 13/03/2012 22:26

wigglybeezer, are you anywhere near me? Should I get a clothes peg ready? :)

I am zumbaing tomorrow - at least if I parp, the music should cover the noise...

No way I am trying Yoga or Pilates now. Will stick to circuits and aerobics!
