To expect clothes in bundles from the NCT sale to at least be wearable?

Ok so I know buyer beware and ultimately I should have opened the bundle and checked all the items.

However completely stained and holey trousers and stained top seemingly hidden in the middle? I wouldn't even put then on DD for the garden.

AIBU to be surprised someone would put stuff like this in and to think its a bit off?

Complain - you will have a seller no on the price tag, contact the sale organisers and they will put you in contact with the seller

Can you do that Pippi? I'm in 2 minds about it, it was only £3 and the rest of the stuff is not in great condition either but useable at least, so it feels a bit petty, but only the other hand I do feel they were taking the piss a bit.

Yes, they should be!

I'd let the money go, but the NCT organiser ought to be told to check that seller doesn't try it on again!

Yes, you can. I often sell and the purpose of the seller no is so someone can contact you if there is a problem. I agree £3 isn't much though, for me, it would depend on what was left in the bundle after you discard the manky items and whether they are anywhere near worth £3. As a guide, I would good quality Gap type non- marked tops for 50p - £1, skirts / trousers/ dresses for £ 2-50-£3. wouldn't sell anything with holes/stains, you're not supposed to and the organisers are supposed to reject substandard items as they put it out, though have seen some grim looking specimens on sale despite this!

The rest of the bundle was a top with matching leggings, no discernable brand (also stained a bit but prob able to get away with), the M&co blouse which goes with the manky leggings, a George t shirt, and a pair of primark shorts which have seen better days but useable. So prob worth £3 without manky items.

I guess the trouble with bundles is that you can't check them out without totally deconstructing them.

I'd be complaining. Went to an NCT sale last year. What a waste of the entrance fee! Needless to say, I won't bother again.
