In thinking that ASDA ought to know that a packet of nappies is not a good alternative to sanitary towels

I mean....really

Ordered "Always" - clicked that I'd accept alternative, thinking they might stick some of their own brand ones in if they'd run out (really didn't want to be caught short) and got a packet of ASDA Smartprice Unisex Nappies (Junior).

Thought this kind of thing happening was an urban legend (anyone remember when someone got a Twix bar instead of tampons!) - but evidently not!!!

purpleroses · 10/03/2012 22:29

Take them back, make a fuss, wave them about and embarrass some poor young male sales assistant? Grin

Hebiegebies · 10/03/2012 22:39

Swap to Ocado

SwimmingThroughSickLullabies · 10/03/2012 22:44

I remember reading once (it must of been fb I think) that someone had ordered 3 fruit bags and been sent 3 packets of chicken fillets instead Confused

As they do with substitutes they'd charged him the original price of the item he ordered so he paid £1.50 for 3 packets of chicken fillets!!

He didn't refuse them because of the price he paid. He'd be stupid not to right?!

misdee · 10/03/2012 22:44

Ocado would send u pampers

carabos · 10/03/2012 22:57

It's the barmy logic that gets me, which is why I don't supermarket shop online anymore. Order bananas, none available so they just send something else yellow instead - could be anything really- grapefruit, melon, toy car, daffodils...

SwimmingThroughSickLullabies · 10/03/2012 23:06

I have to shop online I don't drive.

The thing they annoy me with is I nearly always don't click "allow substitutes" when I order puppy food. Last week I forgot to unclick it so what happened they substituted it with crap.

Why is that if I unclick it I always get it??? I'm convinced that its a conspiracy....Thay have tons of this crap puppy food that they try to off load to online shoppers like me!!!

Well I ain't foolish Asda. I ain't having your crap puppy food. My puppy deserves decent food!!! Grin

thecook · 10/03/2012 23:26
