I can just picture Helen, Olivia and Rowan hovvering over the big red button, agonising over which goes first and whether they'll inrsiult someone if the muslims go before the quakers but after the christians.

I just started it....and before anybody hates me I am a Jewish agnostic.

Elderberries · 07/03/2012 16:53

That doesn't think people should cut off bits of their children

AngryFeet · 07/03/2012 16:54

Jews will go first

mummytime · 07/03/2012 17:35

Jews have gone! Not Muslims yet. Probably Christians after Jedi?

RuleBritannia · 07/03/2012 17:56

What about alphabetical order in reverse?

Frontpaw · 07/03/2012 17:59

What about the atheists? Who cares about them?

TheFrothingBerserker · 07/03/2012 18:07

I want to know more about this 'big red button'.

Is it like a panic button? If one of the MumsnetTowers inmates hits it, do all the others come running to help? Does it beep loudly and set off flashing red lights? Thus turning MumsnetTowers into a red light district?

Why does it take so long to take effect? Usually, one of the MumsnetTowers inmates comes unto a thread and says 'We are going to delete this thread shortly because ...' and then it still takes a good while until the thread actually goes 'poof'. What happens during that time? Are there forms to fill in? Rules to follow?

What happens to the poor deleted threads? Are they forever banished to cyberspace purgatory?

We need to know! And TSSDNCOP is not a satisfactory answer!

Frontpaw · 07/03/2012 20:17

It is a large, red mushroom-shaped button, the size of a pineapple. It is whacked on the top to set off the alarm and stop the hampsters running on their little wheels to generate the power to run Mumsnet. This is why it takes to long to pull a thread. They are long and knitted very tightly into socks and jumpers. They hampsters then need to be reanimated by small electrobes in order to generate enough electricity to oull the thread.

Don't you know anything?

Frontpaw · 07/03/2012 20:19

And pulled threads are recycled. They are knitted into discloths and sold in Shepherds Bush market.

EdithWeston · 07/03/2012 20:23

Will they keep the zombies?

TheAlmightyBob · 07/03/2012 20:26

the button may be small and insignificant (evern if it is red) but the effects are [huge and far reaching]
