AIBU to fantasise about running away?

The housework needs doing, DS has been cooped up all day after a false alarm over chickenpox, payday isn't until Wednesday and the printer has broken that I needed to use to sort the holiday forms. Needless to say, DH is the missing piece of the puzzle but he's doing my head in as well. Sigh.

I think I might leave DS with the neighbours, leave a note for DH, change my name to Juanita and float to Mexico on a homemade raft. Anyone else?

I'm not one to judge! I fantasise about living abroad, alone, a lot. But the grass isn't always greener.

Can I come along please?

(i won't change my name to juanita unless you want me to)

Honestly, this morning I just couldn't be bothered! Even dressing DS felt like too much hassle Hmm

I'll work in a small, dusty bar in Mexico that has a veranda with old men playing backgammon on it. I'll be paid like 2 pesetas a week but that won't matter. I'll kip down in a teeny apartment and read. A lot. Nothing will ever happen in the village. Most importantly, no children will live there as they've all er... Conveniently moved...

At least you're getting a holiday! I haven't had one of those in 6 years, so YABU!
