When people say, eg, "dont be so lazy, just because you have had an operation doesnt mean you cant hoover"
Or "cant pick that up because of your hernia operation? Poor excuse"
Or "course you can wash your hair leaning over the shower, dont be such a wimp"
I had the op last tuesday. These people think they are funny but would i really be so unreasknable as to tell them they are nottttt funny and walk off.

I was tempted to tell some mad bad ex neighbour i saw today to fuck right off when she implied i was lazy for not using the hoover. Unreasonable and defensive or sane minded and rational?!?!

How the fuck would they know!

How about saying . . . until youve had a hernia operation yourself i dont want to hear your opinion!

KennyP why do people do that?! A hernia op is abdominal surgery and you absolutely MUST take care. Please don't take any notice of them. My friend is having her op this week and she showed me the aftercare info, take care of yourself and follow the advice.

maybenow · 27/02/2012 11:46

what the fuck are you talking to ex neighbours about your hoovering habits for????

it's NOBODY's business when you last hoovered.. WHY does it matter to anybody who doesn't live in your house? i'm bewildered Confused

Follow advice given by the medical professionals. Keep conversations short and sweet. Good luck :)

Jackstini · 27/02/2012 12:27

Say - "hmmm, should I listen to random people, or qualified doctors? - decisions, decisions..."
or "and you're basing that on what medical information?"
or "oh - thanks for the advice - when exactly did you have your hernia op?"
Eeeeeejits! Angry]

Lol, thanks all!!!
Mad bad ex neighbour was a very distant memory until i bumped into thr mad bad old bag again.

She has difficulty finding her arse with both hands so why she thinks she is qualified to give me hoovering advice i dont know.

Don't tell 'mad, bad, ex neighbours ' Hmm your business if you don't want them to voice their opinion.
