Anyone with babies or toddlers needs to be aware that the cords from blinds can kill toddlers. It's a known and much-publicised issue yet children are still dying.

RoSPA still have a few free conversion kits available, or you can do it yourself following the instructions on the RoSPA website.

I am really pleased I read this as my children have drawstring laundry bags which I hang on their doors. It never occurred to me that this could be a hazard ( which it obviously is when you think about it)

I wish RoSPA could have produced a better video - that one is awful.

yes, thanks...I kept meaning to sort out the blind in my DDs room. Have just bought a cleat on eBay to keep the chain out of the way.
