AIBU to forget about my nailgrowing and bite my 4 nails down ?

I am a nail biter , but for some inexplicable reason I now have four proper nails .

Two on each hand , the middle and ring finger

They have reached a proper length, you could file them and put nail varnish on them and everyting!

Would it be unreasonable to bite them ?

you're not pregnant are you? cos im a biter too and the only two times ive stopped (without even noticing so) have been my 2 pregnancies.......

Noooooo slap some hand cream on them so they taste yucky!

I'm a biter but always have amazing little finger and thumb nails. When it starts looking properly weird (and it does), I cut them down.
Don't bite them down - too much fingernail in your mouth isn't really very nice.

but there is a whole white tip just waiting to be nibbled x 4

Ohhh - bite them & if you don't I'll come round & bite them for you - think of all the nibbly fun - you can zone out for hours & have a good old chew.

dont bite them.. get the clippers out and trim them neatly.. bitten nails look so horrible!!!!

I am going to bite them ....logic being it's not fair on the thumb, the pinkie and the pointy finger if the other two have had a head start

If I was you I'd have to do it BUT I was a chronic nail biter for years. I used to bite them almost down to the quicks.

I stopped by getting false nails put on for about a year, which stopped the hand to mouth thing.

I now keep them painted to stop me wanting a gnaw.
