To nominate as the country's best town centre....

Well there must be some nice towns in the country , surely!

I nominate Aberdeen, nice old buildings, clean streets, interesting restaurants and a nice buzz about the place.

I liked Kensington, does that count.

Bury, Lancs is lush with new bit.

Cardiff: new John Lewis, lovely arcades with small independent shops in, all the big shops too, TK Maxx, wonderful affordable restaurants and cafes, a water bus to the Bay, a Castle, a permanent market, buskers, a theatre and a wonderful free museum all in the centre.
