Someone else's turn now! It's been lovely but I'm ready for business as usual now!

My dd seems to of been given enough homework not to allow any enjoyment of half term at all

Sad crypes. Do write and tell school if you are unhappy about it. Some schools believe that all parents want stacks of holiday work.

oh dears, my ds was back at school weds, off on a school trip today and lounging on the sofa knackered as I type! Think our LA is the only ones with kids at school...we only get a long weekend here!

We've had a nice half term for once. I shuffled some shifts about and the dc have actually got to do things. We've been to the outdoors center on Mionday and out for dinner. On Tues I couldn't swap shifts about so I bribed Granny into taking them to soft play, we went ice skating yesterday, today has been a teddy bears picnic (indoors) and then water play at my sister's house, tommorrow is possibly cinema, Saturday I am working but might bribe DH into doing the outdoors center again with them or bake biscuits on my break, Sunday is petting zoo or swimming.

The house looks like a bomb has gone off. No-one has clean underwear left. The bin is god knows where and there are half full bags of rubbish in almost every room where I have started cleaning and then gone out instead. It will take me two weeks to catch up, but the dc have had a whale of a time and dd1 is smiling again, after having been miserable for weeks, we finally got it out of that she is being bullied at school, hence the shift swapping and fun time.

I'm normally pulling my hair out by now, but I'd be happy for another week, I don't think my bank would be quite so happy mind you Hmm
