...vile?

It's not so bad in RL but when I read it on here, I 'hear' it in a certain way that makes my skin crawl and take an instant and irrational dislike to the poster.

Anyone else or is it just me?

Bunkum....

mrsjay · 15/02/2012 13:46

Per se !!! what does it even mean why do people have to say it pointless word or words Hmm and also genre sets my teeth on edge , hate it ,

nutterbutsquash · 15/02/2012 13:46

Nearly spat my coffee out laughing at panties, clematis and tight.

I find moist etc more funny than squirmy, but that is probably because I am very immature.

Nom nom is also starting to annoy me.

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere · 15/02/2012 13:54

The word snot makes me want to hurl. I work with kids. There is a lot of snot in my day's work.

It sounds thick and chunky the way it hits the back of someone's throat when they do that throaty, back of the nose, snorting sniff. Oh my fuck, I am going to be sick...........

mrsjay · 15/02/2012 13:54

WorraLiberty · 15/02/2012 13:55

'Lochia' that's another word I can't stand.

It reminds me more of a canal boat ride, rather then post natal gunk.

catgirl1976 · 15/02/2012 13:58

Have just seen"vile" used twice in the same post on another thread :)

MissSayuri · 15/02/2012 14:09

I love the word 'vile' but I'm Glaswegian and we say it more vehemently than anyone else I think. English people pronounce it 'viall' to my ears and it lacks a certain punch Smile
