...vile?

It's not so bad in RL but when I read it on here, I 'hear' it in a certain way that makes my skin crawl and take an instant and irrational dislike to the poster.

Anyone else or is it just me?

Panties... oh that's terrible Shock

I agree, I think the OP will be quite delighted.

WorraLiberty · 15/02/2012 13:23

Or 'nipple slime'

I like the word vile and I say it a lot.
I don't like panties (the word, not the garment).
I can't stand coleslaw.

WorraLiberty · 15/02/2012 13:24

Not quite as bad as pantyhose!!

Proudnscary · 15/02/2012 13:24

Vile is okay

'Bitch' I hate (used on here a lot, usually in context of another mum not inviting dc to birthday party)

'Nasty' and 'mean' when used by adults about other adults really bloody annoys me (also used on here a lot by lame arses who can't take critcism)

catgirl1976 · 15/02/2012 13:25

Randomly I hate the word

Clematis

luckily it doesnt come up much :)

W0rmy · 15/02/2012 13:25

In terms of words said on here 'sanctimonious' was over-used I think, - haven't seen a good 'sanctimonious' for ages though.

WorraLiberty · 15/02/2012 13:26

If we're talking about words on here then 'non' really twists my nipples

I have a good point...non?

Proudnscary · 15/02/2012 13:28

Worra

It's better than 'no'

I have a good point...no?

Ugh, worra - I can't bear 'non?' either. It is so bloody self-satisfied, smug and utterly utterly devoid of HAVING A POINT to it.

NunOnTheRun · 15/02/2012 13:31

Banter

Angry
WorraLiberty · 15/02/2012 13:31

It is, isn't it london

Comprende? Grin

Megatron · 15/02/2012 13:33

Oh I can't be doing with 'non?' or 'no?' at the end of a sentence it just makes me thing 'twat'.

I think I almost fainted at your pantyhose Worra. 'Hosiery' is a bad 'un too non? Wink

catgirl1976 · 15/02/2012 13:33

exactly Vivian - glad its not just me who thinks that

Megatron · 15/02/2012 13:34

Clitoral? appalling word.

catgirl1976 · 15/02/2012 13:36

I no longer think of a small, grey, puppy hand puppet when I hear the word "sweep" :(

Also bad are

pessary
membrane
lube

WorraLiberty · 15/02/2012 13:37

Arf at fainting at my pantyhose Grin

flybynight · 15/02/2012 13:38

I've always had problems with "nipples".

I made a face just typing it.

catgirl1976 · 15/02/2012 13:42

Gypsum

Sounds too much like something else

One of our clients is British Gypsum. Find it hard not to snigger like 6 year old in meetings

fedupofnamechanging · 15/02/2012 13:43

Pleasant. Don't know why, but it makes me want to claw someone's eyes out - it's such a slimy word.
