YABU get yourself to style and beauty immediately.

Sparklingbrook · 12/02/2012 21:07

Can we have a 'comfort and beauty' section Strawberry? With flat shoes and elasticated waists?

MateyMooo · 12/02/2012 21:08

thier chicken nuggets are lovely.. all chicken- we use them to make ahem home made sweet and sour chicken with them.

Yes we use the bottled sweet and sour sauce too [hangs head in shame]Wink

You sound WARM.

I consider myself to be quite a stylish dresser, but in winter when I am at home my priority is to be warm and I wear a lot fo fleece!

MateyMooo · 12/02/2012 21:16

NOTCONTENT the issue with fleece is not to wear too much of it at one time. Last week i was wearing a fleece jumper, fleece pajamas and a fleece dressing gown. i was scared to trun around too quickly incase i started a housefire with a static charge!

the random stuff in the middle is the best bit but you do need extra time to have a good rummage. The Alfredo lasagne is brill and was on special offer this week in ours with the garlic bread, mister choc chocolate peanuts or raisins yum yum.

MateyMooo · 12/02/2012 21:56

i bought a lasagne today... its brill and doesnt have that grainey texture.

This is very true...I wonder how long your lidl tracksuit will last?

TheSmallClanger · 12/02/2012 22:00

YABU about the tracksuit. The one piece of clothing I put my foot down about. My dad used to wear joggers at home and has put me off them for life. The stylish alternative I'm currently sporting is a big fleece blanket around my shoulders in the style of a cartoon granny shawl.Grin

YAcertainlyNBU about the biscuits from Lidl.

MateyMooo · 12/02/2012 22:05

ah yes the '£ per wear' arguement.

I promise you that 4 lidl tracksuits will last just as long (if not longer) as 1 pair of designer lounderwear jogger bottoms.

since i'm built like a sack of potatoes i think that the desinger cut wont really do me justice

to be honest... at the moment £12.99 is a strech for my budget, and nearly never splashed out on it for myself. if you follow my posts you will also know that i own a private numberplate on my modest car... a hangover from the times that i could afford to buy 4 x £59 jogging bottoms without even counting my change.

life changes.

As you will see from my earlier posts i shop at lidl but my dd is well fed, happy and loved.

sorry strawberry you touched a nerve.

StrawberrytallCAKE · 12/02/2012 23:56

No, I'm sorry. That was a bit nobby of me. I'm no millionaire either and actually don't own the Isabella Oliver tracksuit and would only buy it with a massive discount, I do have a maternity cardigan I bought from there three years ago which I still wear constantly Blush and I would rather buy my dd anything than buy myself something so I'm right there with you.
