Sadder than that, I'm a bit soft for James May. I think it's because he likes all the things my DS1 likes. Hornby, Cars, Lego.

YabVu I love top gear and despite Jeremy making many many blunders sometimes I can't help thinking that he is right (NOT the racist stuff obviously) but speed cameras/bus lanes on motorways etc, when things like that are concerned he usually says what I'm thinking!

YABU. Nobody is allowed to speak while it is on in this house. I love it, the specials are great, my favourite being the North pole one.

hiddenhome start watching it-you may be converted. I used to hate,hate,hate Big Bang Theory but DH loved it. Now it's my favourite programme.

The challenges are pure genius. Mini down a ski slope, cars crossing the channel, caravan conkers, self built motorhomes (I actually cried laughing at that one) and many more.

And then the specials...... need I go on?

I used to enjoy it until they did that stupid stunt where they ended up totally trashing some pristine wilderness area in Botswana.
It's all so scripted and set up, too. I think that they are trying hard to be "shocking" but it just comes across to me as hackneyed and artificial.
And Jeremy Clarkson really is a prize eejit.

Don't like Clarkson.
Not interested in cars except in regard to whether they get me to work/shop/pub.
However, I enjoy Top Gear, so YABU.

hidden, I will swap you. We have wall to wall football on round here. I am waiting for 8pm for Top Gear to be on.

Our lounge is the only room in the house that's heated, so I have to stay in there unless I want to freeze to death. I wish he would stop watching it.
