to think that a 'leak proof' drinks bottle, should in fact be leak proof!

I spent a small fortune on various 'leakproof' drinks bottles for ds to take to nursery, all of which have leaked! Angry

The only thing I have found to work is to use a shop bought drinks bottle (the ones with the lid that you pull up) . Currently using a Fruit Shoot yes Fruit Shoot bottle as its the only size I can get in his lunchbox!

Its driving me mad as stupid dh keeps throwing away the bottles waiting to be washed up.

Please recommend a leak proof bottle that is in fact leak proof! Links would be very much apprieciated!

Would like to add that I use a see through FS bottle, just so everyone can see that it is, in fact, not FS juice! Not that I'm a snob or anything Grin

I am experiencing the same pain. Added to that we live in accomodation provided for my DH's job and get charged astronomical amounts if we get even a smidge of a stain on anything.

I must have been through at least half a dozen makes/models of cup by now.

Yay!! I am not alone!

I just use sports bottles that work the same way as the fruit shoot bottles with a stopper that pulls up and down.
I have various ones from different supermarkets that don't leak when the stopper is push in. If size is an issue I dis get shorter ones from I think Millets.
The ones I have are all metal bottles do find they are better than plastic.

I like these ones

easy twisty top, dishwasher proof and also no chemicals - and extremely cheap

amazon do them as well

I've tried the sports bottle types. I find its the actual top that leaks not the stopper iyswim. I haven't tried the cheap supermarkets ones though.

I haven't tried the Sistema ones though, I think a trip to Wilkinson's may be in order!

Maybe the mistake I was making was to go for the more expensive ones, seems cheaper is better.

If you put nothing but water in the bottle then leaks don't matter so much.
