Is my dh BU to think we cant live on £45 grand a year?

Inspired by the other thread re household incomes.

A lot of people thought 45 thousand was a very good income and I agree. It is roughly our household income.

Dh thinks that it is impossible to live on this amount and i constantly moaning about it.

Is he BU?

so do you think its worth shelling out for the dearer paint, I wouldn't have noticed the things you are talking about, but now I might be looking at shiny walls am not so sure

couldn't dulux match the F&B paint without the shine? my walls just now are all dulux low odour paint and they aren't shiny at all

Actually, you only have to look at the houses in the F&B catalogue to see it's a totally differnt effect than mainstream paints.

Dh didnt want me to spend extra on F&B when we did the lounge so I used Almond White by Dulux. Not the same at all.

Lucklily the room got some smoke damage so the companies insurance is paying for the decoration....Now which shade of F&B did I use first time around I wonder?

Pictish I just scanned LeQueen's photos out of interest with the farrow and ball thing & then nosily scanned your and saw your 2nd home - never mind LeQ's place ... that is fAB! I've wanted one for ages - where did you get it and how much???
And yes of course you can live well on 45K. We've got less than that and do fine.
