that you should know what you are doing, and when you don't know what you are doing you shouldn't act as if it's the person talking to you that is the ignorant twat and get arsey! Angry

So fed up with dealing with people who expect miracles, get uppity if the miracles aren't shiny enough and never say thanks.

Sorry to rant but I don't get paid enough for this sort of crap.

Try doing what a colleague of mine once did and ask 'Is there anyone more intelligent there that I can speak to ?'

FourThousandHoles · 09/02/2012 13:02

I can SO SO SO SO very much relate to that OrmIrian

My job entails being spoken down to by employees of major retailers too.

You pull off what should be impossible, pissing your own suppliers off in the process sometimes, and get nothing. I wouldn't dream of speaking to our suppliers the way that I have been spoken to by retailers in the past.

They really think they're a superior breed.

That would have been the perfect response wine! Because eventually after Stupid's head started to steam, a more intelligent person did speak to me, understood what I wanted instantly and did what I needed.

"I wouldn't dream of speaking to our suppliers the way that I have been spoken to by retailers in the past" Yep. Quite. In fact I don't. I go out of my way to be helpful and agreable. Life is so much easier that way.
