Am I a terrible mother for thinking "youre nearly 14, you have cooking lessons in school, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that YOU cook the (homemade) dinner

takingiteasy i wasn't being prissy but i have no idea in what context you use it at home...for all i know you are sitting in your mansion somewhere so it did sound rude...however now it's in context it's different

Mine had a freezer dinner last night too, so did dp & I. I usually cook from scratch but was knackered so thought sod it. The kids had popcorn chicken, supernoodles, peas & sweetcorn, dp and I had oven chips, reggae reggae chicken and brocolli.

Why have a freezer if you never use it to make a freezer tea? It's there to help you after all...

And I know some only use it to freeze fruit they have picked themselves, and mini portions of cooked from scratched meals, but really.
