To wonder which one of us should have been doing the judging?

I went to Sainsbury's on Monay night and parked in the P&C area despite not having DS with me. I did this because it's closer to the door, I was feeling quite lazy and there is something quite satisfying about using such a large parking space. I justified this to myself because demand for these spaces is very low at that time of night.

When I finished shopping and returned to the car, there was a man with two children one about 3 or 4 and what was probably a 1 year old returning to his.

I've been on Mumsnet for a while now and have learnt to gauge myself when AIBU but this time I just can't decide whether was he more within his rights to judge me for using a space I technically wasn't entitled to or if I should have been judging him for taking young children shopping after 9pm?

There was no ticker, although did have the slightly weary look about him that one gets when they've been called "Hun" once too often.

Sad then he probably has enough problems of his own without extra judgement.

Did you stand there, giving each other judgy looks then? I would have loved to have seen it.
FWIW,YABU. It's up to him what time he takes his kids shopping.
