hey this takes me back! I remember feeling exactly the same and even when my mum came round to see me she got the sharp end of my tongue and then I burst into tears..

Hope it all goes well for you+

YANBU.

Babies have an allotted time slot in your body and yours is outstaying its welcome in there! Perhaps it heard about the snow and thought it'd wait until it had passed?

I think you should be allowed to wallow and complain loudly and have your every whim attended to.

TroublesomeEx · 06/02/2012 13:56

And if it's already 9 days overdue, it won't be much longer now. Good luck! x

mojitomania · 06/02/2012 14:05

Sorry OP, chuckling here. Mine was in no rush either!

You wallow as much as you want Grin

redexpat · 06/02/2012 15:37

Wallow away! Thatøs whet MN is for!

GrittersWifeAndProud · 06/02/2012 15:47

I hated it so much when I was in my last few weeks, and you know that awful heaviness and tiredness and all around fed up and grumpiness? DPs auntie kept saying to me 'You're young, you should have loads of energy!' when I was knackered and waddling around at 39+ weeks and when asked how I was replied 'Absolutely shattered and want to go to bed'. Yes I might have been young but that has absolutely bugger all to do with being massively pregnant.

NoMoreMarbles · 06/02/2012 15:55

YADNBU your uterus is not a stay as long as you like hotel for babiesGrin

I cried every day when I went OD with my DD I went 11 days so I basically sobbed non stop the whole time! Blush your baby WILL be along shortly but until then you can reserve the right to be as miserable as you likeGrin

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDoom · 06/02/2012 17:28

Get in the bath, hang your leg over the side, and shout "Swim Toward the LIGHT" Grin

OnlyFunctionsWithCaffeine · 06/02/2012 17:35

No ofcourse you are not being unreasonable - whoever tells you to stop wallowing however is being very unreasonable and should expect their head to be bitten off Grin

Anniegetyourgun · 06/02/2012 18:22

Be fair, would you want to leave a nice warm womb in this weather if you had the choice?
