Seriously do these people have no job - i.e get sacked as they're filmed?
What a twat

Lol, loved the guy singing and shouting Pakistan zindabad!

FrizzyFrazzled · 05/02/2012 05:53

My goodness... It's scary that there are people like this. I have NEVER met anyone like that. How awful and offensive. Good on everyone else in the carriage.

StealthPenguin · 05/02/2012 08:08

I wish I could say I'm shocked.

People like this are few and far between, so on behalf of every sane person in the UK - I apologize. These people are not the majority, I promise you.

ButWhyIsTheGinGone · 05/02/2012 08:25

The singing guy was brilliant. It quite chilling towards the end when he started again and it just infuriated so much to the point where she was out of control.
Probably someone disappointed and pissed off with her own life, for whatever reason so decides it must be the fault of the "foreigners." I hope she gets done.

Yeahthatsnotgonnahappen · 05/02/2012 08:42

God it's mortifying to watch people like that. I am always impressed by other peoples reaction and I think the Pakistani guy was genius. What makes my blood boil is that she (or people like her) go on about how it's nothing to do with race but being foreign or illegal. But amazingly I don't count because although being born and raised elsewhere the colour of my skin offers me a free pass. My friend whose family are of Indian origin but was born and raised here gets verbally racially abused and told to 'go back to her country'. Disgusting behaviour - I certainly hope that this woman gets identified and charged.

caramelwaffle · 05/02/2012 09:04

She'll regret that in the morning.

bejeezus · 05/02/2012 09:26

Why do we want to keep watching these clips? It makes me feel sick

I suppose its good for raising awareness?

bejeezus · 05/02/2012 09:33

I am sad to say, if I wad filmed behaving like that, I would pretty much guarantee that I wouldn't loose my job Sad

FeedZombieEatSmartie · 05/02/2012 09:37

Disgusting behaviour.

bejeezus · 05/02/2012 09:45

IME it isn't this kind of racist that are problematic. You can discount people like her very quickly. It's the quiet covert type, that can pass their behaviour/attitude as being 'a misunderstanding' 'youve got a chip on your shoulder', that are most damaging

BumgrapesofWrath · 05/02/2012 09:53

Isn't it the same woman that was filmed before being racist on a bus?

coldwed · 05/02/2012 13:26

bejeezus - Why do we want to keep watching these clips? It makes me feel sick

Hopefully so that she could be identified. People like her who like to terrorise people with their bullshit need to be held accountable.

I would love this clip to reach her employers/collgs.

It's a different woman from Emma West (Croydon Tram)

I know, they sound alike!

OP posts:
lubeybooby · 05/02/2012 13:43

Christ on a bike. I see the Emma West thing has done nothing to educate these horrid, ignorant twats then about racism, hate speech, the LAW, and how everyone has means of recording outbursts like this these days!

I hope this too goes viral and that she is caught, just like that other vile woman.

Mimishimi · 05/02/2012 14:16

I thought it was telling when the guy filming said "If you've got a problem, you go make an appointment with David Cameron, you talk to him". He's right. People like her blame immigrants for their predicaments, they generally don't blame the people who came up with the policies of mass immigration for cheap labour. Or who impoverished their families in the first place with endless wars, shoddy education funding etc. And who are now trying their best to pit the poorest of their own against those immigrants in the name of a war on terror when they know that the best result of that for them personally will be nothing but more poverty with a good measure of guilt thrown in. She'd obviously had too much to drink but I don't think anyone should laugh at the angst of those who have nowhere else to go and feel completely disenfranchised. This is their native home unlike the citizens of the US/Australia etc. History shows the results of that are rarely pretty.

HoneyandHaycorns · 05/02/2012 14:48

God that makes painful viewing. Good for the guy who started singing - not sure that I'd have reacted so benignly!

Boomerwang · 05/02/2012 14:49

I think she has a problem and she ought to have been removed but I understand there's nobody around to moderate train carriages. If I'd been there I would have told her to be quiet for her own sake but I'm sure if I'd attempted to shepherd her away she'd get physical.

Most were laughing because she was clearly spouting rubbish and it's never productive to argue with someone you think is drunk.

This is the perspective of a white person who has never been targeted for a racist attack. Someone else may think differently.

olgaga · 05/02/2012 15:11

Drunken racists - and misogynists - are certainly not a new phenomenon on public transport systems. What's new is that everyone now has a phone to video it and paste it on YouTube.

Good thing too. It might have some impact eventually, if these people are found and prosecuted.

Pendeen · 05/02/2012 21:49

I see someone has put a copyright claim on the video.

I think the original video (or one sadly very similar) first popped up shortly after the Croydon tram one.
