Totally agree

BupcakesandCunting · 31/01/2012 23:56

Which one? The one with the weord curly wig or the one who looked like KD Lang?

aldiwhore · 31/01/2012 23:58

Not watching it but thanks to bupcakes I'm intrigued about a kid looking like KD Lang...

BupcakesandCunting · 01/02/2012 00:00

trufax.

TheOriginalNutcracker · 01/02/2012 00:03

For a minute i thought he was an actor, and checked the tv guide to see if it said it was true stories being told by actors.

GashInTheAttic · 01/02/2012 00:03

KD Lang is weird looking.

TheOriginalNutcracker · 01/02/2012 00:05

I don't believe a word that has come from Ryan's mouth.

GoingForGoalWeight · 01/02/2012 00:54

Don't know about him BS, could be telling the truth about the fact he and other kids want to riot again, but i feel he needs to get his kicks in another way, other than looting and smashing up people's property. IDIOT Angry

CogitoErgoSometimes · 01/02/2012 07:11

Sadly, I thought he was probably being serious. At the end of the prog it said that he was going to do a course in socio-political trainer-nicking & excuse-making (I paraphrase) at Salford Uni. He seemed bright but slippery. I loved the parents that were so anxious to raise him properly but had ended up outsmarted into believing theft and arson = 'protest'.

lesley33 · 01/02/2012 07:37

I thought he was being serious. But I actually felt sorry for him as I thought his parents encouraged his misguided beliefs.

exoticfruits · 01/02/2012 07:53

I thought that he was being serious and I just couldn't stand it -as he got onto 'repressed working classes' I just switched off. Life is too short to listen to drivel!

lesley33 · 01/02/2012 07:56

And if he does grow up, he is going to be so embarassed at spouting this rubbish on tv

exoticfruits · 01/02/2012 08:09

I think that was why I couldn't stand it lesley-he was so young and he will cringe with embarrassment if he sees it in later life.

Olderyetwilder · 01/02/2012 14:43

Wasn't the mother with the kd lang kid odd though, he was more like her partner (and a rather old fashioned one) than her child. She kept defering to him, it was all very odd

trustissues75 · 01/02/2012 14:56

I found his parents apathy alarming

BoldieGoldie · 01/02/2012 15:16

Was this the chap who said it was a redistribution of wealth. If so I need a sofa. Can I pop into his home and choose to redistribute his wealth. He should have no problem with this. It would be hypocritical, non?

BoldieGoldie · 01/02/2012 15:18

Was he a bit indoctrinated? I felt sorry for the blonde girl tho

BoldieGoldie · 01/02/2012 15:18

Sorry, lost post.

smoggii · 01/02/2012 22:30

I really don't buy the blonde girls 'I walked into the raided shop because i was curious', but I do think she got hit too hard for what she did.

I meant the one with the curly hair, but you made me laugh asking about the one who looked like KD Lang because i kept saying 'he looks like a lesbian' fully aware that all (most) lesbians look different from one another but clearly my head was thinking of one very specific lesbian (KDL) but wasn't relaying the information properly.

You could tell the dad of the kid with the curly hair was a bit of an ageing animal rights activist (or something similar) and that the kid was spouting his views but I don't believe for a second he really did anything.

And yes the mum of KD Lang fella very odd. And the upper middle class dad with his very 'street' son, surely that boy has lost credibility with all his pals after that programme aired.
