Had some time off today and saw a programme on a shopping channel (Ideal World)selling, in their words 'fabulous clothing in a wonderful fabric' - it looked like shiny , thick stretch nylon. So, being a bit bored I googles it and found that another shopping channel (QVC)sells it as well, at a different price point and in all sorts of colours/prints under the name of Kim.
What the hell is this please and who wears it ?

It isn't trendy. It is a bit blue rinse territory.

But it drapes, stretches, washes, washes, washes, doesn't need ironing if hung up and is brilliant to pack because it takes hardly any room and little care and doesn't run in the wash. Ever. It is also remarkably stain resistant. If you look after it, the clothes carry on for five or six years of hard wear looking really good - and I mean hard wear! After ten years they look their age a bit more, not with holes or anything but they fade slightly.

Kim and Co (KNC) is really heavy, but it is one of those things where it isn't warm to wear, though it can be warm if you need it. I bought similar cheap off the market (still no colour run, stretching, fading or ironing) back in 1997 which aren't as good quality but still do for all sorts, even though they have been snagged to pieces by cats. They are much thinner, but still great.

Downside - do not tumble dry unless you want your doll to wear them.

Thanks for the heads up with Ideal World. I love them, but KNC aren't always my cup of tea.
