To wonder why I can never get all the crumbs out of the toaster? (trivial and boring)

Even when I've shaken it (several times) and emptied the tray part.

Then a nice litle pile of crumbs appears when I set it back down on the worksurface

And why do I always miss a bit when I've mopped the kitchen floor and put the bucket away?

Why won't my hair sit nicely and stay that way after I've dried it?

YANBU, these things always happen to me too. Even my cats are in on it and ALWAYS wait until I've just finished cleaning the trays and will go in and take a huge dump...just to mock me Angry...

YANBU........ the streaks in mirrors that just wont go are my crumbs.

scarletforya · 27/01/2012 17:19

YANBU.

I keep mine on a tray so that the crumbs stay somewhat contained.

I usually give DD the toaster to clean as part of the washing-up. She has only once forgotten to unplug it.

You nearly had me there for a minute tinker Grin

I wonder why I'm so crap at judging how much pasta to cook as well?

I never learn my lesson.

Weigh pasta.

The crumbs get me too.

I always always forget one important item in the supermarket, even if I have a list.

OuchCharlie · 27/01/2012 21:15

winkly I always forget the shopping list!

Why can't I make anything involving flour without ending up with more over me, the worktop and the floor than in the recipe?

I resorted to shaking toaster over bin, then putting the thinnest nozzle on the dyson and sticking it in the toaster. I then cleaned out tray and first thing that happened as i was putting was crumbs falling out the bottom. I don't think there is any solution
