I'll be right there with you at midnight hehe

JoyceDivision · 26/01/2012 23:13

Could I be a killjoy and say it could be the early hours of the morning?Grin

I'm usually so sking because we get paid by BACS we can see credit pending the day before so i can see the credit taunting me by being just out of reach to spend!

BandOMothers · 26/01/2012 23:13

YANBU I have done it in the past! As a student I often used to run out at midnight to draw money out so I could buy some food!

AfternoonDelight · 26/01/2012 23:15

One job/bank combination I had (some years ago and pre-DC I might add!) meant my wages would go in at exactly half 10 the day before payday, and the pub round the corner stopped serving at 11. My housemates and I would be by the door, coats and shoes on, at 10.29, pressing refresh on the balance page of my online banking account on mobile internet, poised and ready to run to the pub as soon as the money hit to see how much we could drink before closing!

Not U at all. I'll be doing the same thing on Monday night, as after 4 long months my Tax Credits claim has finally been sorted and the whole backpay is going in on Tuesday.

I may even get wine and party poppers in ;)

Well, if you work for our company I would have to say YABVU not to trust ne enough to process your payroll correctly in order for you to be paid Grin

That said, I have £2 in my purse and can't wait for tomorrow and I'm happy that it is a short month in Feb!

allthatglittersisnotgold · 27/01/2012 09:32

This is funny! I don't stay up but I do get up extra early to see it in there. How long has January been?

aldiwhore · 27/01/2012 09:34

YANBU I am doing the same, even though my whole wages are tiny (part-part-timer) and the money will get eaten by my overdraft this month.

Punchthosecalories · 27/01/2012 09:48

Ours haven't gone in :( It turns out it'll be tuesday :(

imaginethat · 27/01/2012 09:49

Have done v. same thing... and it didn't show till 5am!

trixymalixy · 27/01/2012 09:51

My pay day is the 26th. I was still up well after midnight, so checked on the 25th but they hadn't gone in. Thankfully they were in when I checked in the morning!!
