They are sneaky. Once I innocently clicked on a thread entitled 'What shall I have for tea tonight?' thinking it would be an interesting debate on good/bad carbs, free-range v farmed, and whether to use that tub of fromage frais at the back of the fridge that was two days out of date.

But no. There they were, wallowing in sauce, discussing the merits of Heinz v own-brand. Brazen as you like. It was a Stealth Bean Thread.

I don't read them, I do hide the 'on-going' threads but only so other stuff comes to the top of my Active Convos page.

I think they are probably a bit poked off because these 'who the fuck are the nobdies' threads appear all the time. And as they say, it is chat.

In fairness I think if you start a thread being snarky about a bunch of posters based on not having read what they post, there is a reasonable likelihood that they will be a bit rude in return.
