Booked a four day break (ok 3 nights) and have been told we can arrive no earlier than 4pm and depart no later than 10am. So two full days.

AIBU to be a bit pissed off?

Where is that newmum?

Sirzy · 25/01/2012 18:24

Perfectly normal. Leave in the morning have a day out on your way there and a day out on the way back - hey presto 4 days!

MrsCampbellBlack · 25/01/2012 18:24

If its a hotel that normally just applies to your room but you can use all the facilities. Many also offer early check-in and late book-out but its pretty standard - they have to clean the rooms between guests after all.

Ilovedaintynuts · 25/01/2012 18:27

Err this is normal and always has been. At least in my universe.

Newmummytobe79 · 25/01/2012 18:27

It's a cottage so thought hotel rules wouldnt apply?

Oh well - I guess we'll have to do the two days out like Sirzy suggests.

Just feel a bit bad on baby ... but it is near a pub Grin

Wine whilst we wait maybe?

Totally normal, we do as Sirzy suggested. That way we are getting our full break.

MrsCampbellBlack · 25/01/2012 18:28

Have a lovely time Smile

Newmummytobe79 · 25/01/2012 18:29

Thanks MrsCampbellBlack! :)

Well deserved break for us all :)

Can't wait!

Cottages still need to be cleaned, and will take longer to do than a hotel room would.

Hope you have a lovely time anyway!
