My kids loved it at that age

But why anyone would think you're BU or even care what you let your kids watch is beyond me.

My 4 year old LOVES Jurassic Park, but you have to go with what you think your child can cope with, so youre not being unreasonable IMO, you know your kids better than your friend.

My 4 year old is dinosaur mad and has watched it many times but there are bits that he doesn't like and I have to fast forward those. He had more problems with Toy Story 3, particularly the big pink bear Lasso he found terrifying

My 4 year old loves watching JP, but I don't think you are BU not to let yours watch it. As a parent you know best what is suitable for your LO.

I woulnd't let my 5 year old watch as I know she would get scared and probably have nightmares!

Lumiya · 25/01/2012 12:01

Yanbu. It was on tv a couple of weeks ago and my two found it too scary. Although mine maybe wimps - my 7 year old had bad dreams after watching the lion king.

GrimmaTheNome · 25/01/2012 12:03

YANBU, you know your kids.
Mine was scared by Lady and the Tramp II at that age! Grin

Catsdontcare · 25/01/2012 12:04

My four year old could probably watch it an not be scared because his imagination isn't so developed as my 6 year old who would probably pap his pants!

ds is 3 and he loves the jurassic films, well anything dinosaur related tbh
