It shows a little boy (6/7?) pretending to have sex with a lady "doggy style". The posted has then photoshopped the face of the women with one of his male friends. THey are fully clothed.

Was I right? This is child abuse/pornography isnt it, even if fully clothed?

By the sounds of it YANBU

JustHecate · 24/01/2012 19:52

It's in remarkably bad taste.

Is this someone you know?

OnlyWantsOne · 24/01/2012 19:53

How horrific. YANBU.

Is this photo from some one you know? I'd be inclined to block them.

Like me you mean stranded ? Hmm

No one else agree it is child abuse?? Shock

DesperatelySeekingSedatives · 24/01/2012 20:00

YANBU it sounds foul. I'd report it and delete whoever posted it to FB. No way would I want to be friends with a weirdo like that!

I do know the person yes.

Wow Stranded. I am seriously gobsmacked that you dont think that posing a 6/7 yr old into a sexual position with an adult and taking a photo isnt abusive.

OP posts:
ILoveSanta · 24/01/2012 20:16

I think it's abuse, and I would report it. How can it not be abuse when you are putting a small and vulnerable child into a pose like that, then photographing it and posting it for the world to see. It's just dreadful.

Yes he is actually posed. He is holding onto her hips. It is definitely deliberately posed.

OP posts:
JustMeAndMyBaby · 24/01/2012 20:24

Yanbu I'd say it's possibly abuse if it was posed to look sexual and definitely a bad idea but not if it was taken in error but definitely bad taste to then photoshop and share.

Chundle · 24/01/2012 20:25

If it were a young girl in a sexual position posing with a man you would all say its abuse. No different if its boy imo

JustMeAndMyBaby · 24/01/2012 20:26

I'd be worried about the person who posed it. Do you know the people in the picture or is it a passed on one? I'd be very angry if it was my face that had been photoshopped in.

Wayoutthere · 24/01/2012 20:27

I think you are right to report it.
Do we know it was a just a stupid joke or is there something underlying / sinister going on with the adults behind this? Who really knows. If it was your kid how would you feel. Personally I think it's sick.
They need to know that no else thinks its a joke or acceptable.
Would it come under child exploitation - does that come under abuse??

FrancesHouseman · 24/01/2012 20:32

I probably would've reported it too. I do it a lot on facebook and consider carefully who I want to be friends with. Often it's photos that stupid friends-of-friends have posted who have their profiles set to public.

If you find it uncomfortable, then report. Facebook does the rest...

thisisyesterday · 24/01/2012 20:34

of course it's abuse!

from the NSPCC:

"Sexual abuse involves forcing or enticing a child or young person to take part in sexual
activities, not necessarily involving a high level of violence, whether or not the child is aware
of what is happening. The activities may involve physical contact, including assault by
penetration (for example, rape or oral sex) or non-penetrative acts such as masturbation,
kissing, rubbing and touching outside of clothing. They may also include non-contact
activities, such as involving children in looking at, or in the production of, sexual images,
watching sexual activities, encouraging children to behave in sexually inappropriate ways, or
grooming a child in preparation for abuse"

AnaisB · 24/01/2012 20:34

YADNBU - I'd be very concerned if it was deliberately posed. That is abusive and I'd be shocked if anyone could think otherwise.

thisisyesterday · 24/01/2012 20:35

and imagine what would happen if that boy decided to play that "funny game" as i'm sure it's been presented to him, at school...

AWimbaWay · 24/01/2012 20:36

Yes it's abuse, as a previous poster said, if a 6 year old girl was being coerced into sexual positions with a man and having photos taken I don't think anyone would dispute that, clothed or not. I'm glad you reported it. I'd also be questioning whoever posted it wtf they were thinking.

suebfg · 24/01/2012 20:37

YANBU - I'd report it

MmeLindor. · 24/01/2012 20:38

If it was deliberately posed then yes, you were right to report it. And I would pass it on to CEOP too.

thisisyesterday · 24/01/2012 20:38

OP... it may be worth your while taking a screenshot with as much info as possible on it?

Callisto · 24/01/2012 20:38

Sounds utterly hideous, and from what you say it sounds as though it would be classed as abuse. If it is as bad as you say I would probably be informing the police too OP.
