To think that quoting past threads/quiches on MN does not prove you aren't a troll?

You know when someone says 'name changed but not a troll - missing toaster, poo troll etc'. It doesn't really prove anything, does it? Any lurkers could read all that and still be a troll of some sort, no?

Am bored, can you tell? Grin

You probably won't when I tell you Beer (have posted it before though), I am a little less than errrr tidy in the lady department, always have been, always will be but years ago when on a holiday with friends a mutual friend's very chic French chum told me with disdain 'you have the spiders-legs, why do you not do something about it?'

It amused me greatly & I have ever-thus kept untrimmed in defiance.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 18/01/2012 18:36

Spiderslegs, ive never before seen your profile but after reading this thread I took a nosy, what a lovely family and home you have. Smile

Also (and I do hope you dont take this the wrong way) whenever I read your username I read it as spider slegs, in a "you slaaaaaag" accent. I'm very weird. Hmm

Notice, TSC hasn't said anything nice about my legs.

I take that as an attack on my fat calves.

TSC - I really didn't think you were, as you mentioned me in the same breath as Pag & surely no-one would ever have a pop at Pag.

I then got worried & paranoid & had to medicate with botanical based spirits.

I feel much better now though

Yes.
I noticed that you mentioned my cankles near a post about spider legs. And no one would ever accuse her of having fat legs so I assumed you were joking too.

bibbitybobbityhat · 18/01/2012 19:19

Rant! I have nothing to drink either.

Hullygully · 18/01/2012 19:20

heh heh

I'm going to the wine giving cinema in a mo

spiderslegs · 18/01/2012 19:20

Actually Pag, your ankles are conspicuously absent from all your photos....

However as she sits in front of the Calour-gaz in our Salford love-nest, warming her toes, I can confirm they are particularly well turned.

What's a wine giving cinema?

I have no alcohol actually. I am just breathing in the fumes from the calor gas

bibbitybobbityhat · 18/01/2012 19:27

I am going to an actual PUB in a minute and am resolved not to drink. Feck!

spiderslegs · 18/01/2012 19:32

Just buy an extra gin & slip it in your drink when no-one's looking Bibbity.

Works for me.

MmeLindor. · 18/01/2012 19:34

at the meaning behind spiderlegs.

BIWI
I had a youthful friend say to me, "I really liked Freddie Mercury's music... of course, he was dead before I heard it for the first time".

W0rmy · 18/01/2012 19:38

Bloody hell, has he really been gone that long?

AmazingBouncingFerret · 18/01/2012 19:41

Wine giving cinema? Shock Hully is this wonderful phenomenonenononon true? Or do you jest?

spiderslegs · 18/01/2012 19:45

20 years apparently according to Radio 4 the other week - it frightened me too.

Am now listening in homage.
