I started a thread in Chat in the summer which was taking the piss out of DD's scant homework instructions to, "find out about the death of Harold" (the 1066 Bayeux tapestry arrow in the eye one) but all I could think of was Harold Bishop lost at sea and Ah-da-da-da-d' Madge finding his shattered spectacles on a rock

It ended up being quite funny with someone saying that she thought he went into the water on a trip to Ireland and then someone else saying that since he washed up in Tasmania the thought of poor Harold bobbing around in the many oceans for months sans spectacles was quite unrealistic.
