To think that quoting past threads/quiches on MN does not prove you aren't a troll?

You know when someone says 'name changed but not a troll - missing toaster, poo troll etc'. It doesn't really prove anything, does it? Any lurkers could read all that and still be a troll of some sort, no?

Am bored, can you tell? Grin

What's up punit? Hope you're ok. I meant silly not noisy!

PinotVaggio · 18/01/2012 09:20

No need to apologise, salmon, MN is a huge website and people can talk about what they choose to. Sorry to moan on your thread.

I'll PM you SPB x

Pinot darling come and sit here and have a cuddle, s'alright, even Mnet knew the thread was 90% banter with the odd serious point about Australian soaps thrown in?

Is there anything we can do as a bunch of pixels in your laptop to make you feel better?

PinotVaggio · 18/01/2012 09:31

Sorry for derailing thread OP... shhhh but thanks.

LeBOF · 18/01/2012 09:35

Don't worry, our little Vag- I haven't heard if any PMs at all, and I'm the biggest gossip In The World

Tis all just a bit of piffle, apart from the serious stuff about Bouncer.

mothmagnet · 18/01/2012 09:41

Fellatio, yes, I've also nc to ask a question, not because of how I am here as I don't think I'm recognisable, just I didn't want to be noticed in rl (ex-related)

I would also change details about myself or ds, I think it's necessary to want privacy, it's quite a public site.

I wasn't being very clear about 'made-up' threads. I meant great long stories, completely (imo)untrue, designed to cause controversy and get other people arguing. Usually I just ignore them, but there have lately been a few which have annoyed me. I will now just report them or ignore, and not feel so outraged Smile

(I have no idea who the posters being discussed on this thread are btw - I'm not insinuating that it's them)

Hullygully · 18/01/2012 09:51

What I find most most annoying is that I hear stufff like so-and-so is really X, and I'm like Shock

And then I forget. Like now, I cannot for the life of me remember the two names DP was going under recently.

Oh well.

Psammy

'...try and make themselves appear superior (whether they've invented a country pile/ PhD/ fabulous life)it's still trolling to some degree.

sometimes they use this to belittle and scorn and hurt others. not sure ifit's not a form of inadequacy/mental illness, it's very very sad though

I for kne know that spiders legs andpag live in social housing in Salford, together.'

I don't know whether it was meant as a joke or not, but I find it hard to read the first sentence and then not connect the comment about Pag and Spider to it. It read to me like TSC having one of her little digs disguised as a joke, at people who are well-off, so I thought I'd have a dig back. Apologies if I misunderstood.

Why would anyone doubt Pag (or spiderlegs, although I am not very familiar with him/her)? It seems very obviously a joke to me Confused

I think there must be background here that I am not familiar with. So it's probably me who's misunderstood.

Sorry, but I really disliked the 'poor people like you' comment. Or is it a 'thing' you two do? I should probably butt out.

Psammead · 18/01/2012 11:33

Just to clarify, the 'Why would anyone doubt Pag' was completely rhetorical.

I feel that I am on Terra Incognita here. I shall flee back to Chat.

BrianSurgeon · 18/01/2012 11:38

Oh no this is turning serious and upsetting people.

I am like Mary don't get any of this but I do mind if people like Psa get upset.

Why can't this be a PARD?

FellatioNelsonsDog · 18/01/2012 11:42

Well, it's not a 'thing' that I do, (and yes, it was below the belt) but it appears to be a 'thing' that some people do lately, in reverse iyswim. Not just TSC, but quite a few people and I am growing weary of it. It's a big board with room for all sorts of opinions, politics, lifestyles etc. If someone or something doesn't float your boat it's really not hard to just stay out of it.

And Beertricks, yes, you've summed it up nicely.

LadyBeagleEyes · 18/01/2012 11:43

We could always go back to Bouncer?

FellatioNelsonsDog · 18/01/2012 11:48

What you don't realise people, is that to most people this thread is a light hearted joke, but to someone in particular it clearly is a very personal dig and a vendetta. (if you don;t already know who then it really doesn't matter and it's not worth wasting time trying to find out.) It's cleverly disguised but the clues are there if you know what to look for. I just think that as supposedly intelligent grown-ups it is time to stop flogging a dead horse and go and make your fun elsewhere.

I'm hiding this thread now.

(Ok, maybe I won't hide it but I won't add to it. I've said my piece. Smile)

FellatioNelsonsDog · 18/01/2012 11:49

Except to say that it is not Pag!

Hullygully · 18/01/2012 11:54

I would very much like someone to explain what the fuck is going on.

Please.

LadyBeagleEyes · 18/01/2012 11:56

Me too, Hully Confused
