To have eaten a whole Terry's chocolate orange?

I opened it today and the whole thing has mysteriously disappeared into my mouth!

It's been a long weekend. I'm fed up with being pregnant and running after DS who is 13 months. The SPD has been really bad this weekend and I feel like a miserable git. So I've eaten the whole thing!

mmm yum

giraffesCanGoFirstFootingOnNYE · 16/01/2012 03:26

surely thats one of your 5 a day anyway

Eskarina · 16/01/2012 03:39

You're pg and have a young toddler, and you only ate 1? Yabu! Wink

NoMoreMarbles · 16/01/2012 03:47

It's a legal requirement to eat the full one...

Plus it's got orange in it right? One of your 5 a day surelyGrinWink

SubordinateClaws · 16/01/2012 07:53

They have literally thousands of calories.

moondog · 16/01/2012 07:59

I bet you feel even worse after eating it though eh?

Bingeing will never make anyone happy.

MissPenteuth · 16/01/2012 08:16

It's so easily done. You at a few segments, then a few more, then there's only a few left so you may as well finish them. My willpower went right out the window when pg as well, and I didn't have a 13mo running me ragged either.

As long as you're not eating a whole chocolate orange every day, don't worry about it :)

MissPenteuth · 16/01/2012 08:16

at = eat.

redvelvetcake · 16/01/2012 19:06

I know it has thousands of calories! I've now taken ds out for a very long speed walk and eaten nothing but salad!

Oh the guilt of too much chocolate

MrsSleepy · 16/01/2012 19:09

Does it really have thousands of calories? Shock

was going to say yabu it's only january
but if you are pregnant with a toddler you probably needed the glucose!

TurkeyBurgerThing · 16/01/2012 19:24

Baby wanted it! It told you to do it, so it's not your fault and no need to feel guilty.

Also if you eat an entire one within 24 hours on this particular day that is the 16th of January 2012 did you know that it won't actually contain any calories!

LittleMissFlustered · 16/01/2012 19:31

It's only unreasonable if you didn't get one for everyone elseWink

CockyPants · 16/01/2012 19:37

Have another one. Life's too short. And it's bloody cold out. Enjoy. (heads off to sweetie jar, full of hope...)

MrsHoolie · 16/01/2012 19:42

Yanbu

WorraLiberty · 16/01/2012 19:43

It depends on whether or not you're going to be upset if you gain a lot of weight during this pregnancy.

boaty · 16/01/2012 20:44

Chocolate is made from beans, beans are a veg, chocolate therefore counts as one of the five a day PLUS it is orange!! A glass of wine is made from grapes so there you have it...two of the five a day at least!! enjoy! Wine Grin

BeaOnSea · 16/01/2012 20:46

I hope it wasn't a popping candy one Grin

MrsKitty · 16/01/2012 20:48

Oooh the popping candy ones are divine!

devonshiredumpling · 16/01/2012 20:49

yabu cause you did not give me a bit

mamasmissionimpossible · 16/01/2012 20:53

Yum! Hope you enjoyed it. 'Meh' to the miserable gits on here counting the calories! Hmm

redexpat · 16/01/2012 22:13

Is your real name Dawn French? It's not Terry's, it's yours! Or at least it was... WinkGrin

Flibble80 · 16/01/2012 22:24

It depends. If you're overweight and that's an issue for you then yeah, eating an entire chocolate orange in one sitting isn't the way forward. If you have no hold-ups about your weight and it makes you happy then who cares? :)

WorraLiberty · 16/01/2012 22:27

But that makes us miserable gits Flibble

Don't you know these threads are all about making over indulgence seem normalised? Wink
