Kayano - it is great - am absolutely loving it. Although think I maybe playing it a bit too much as was dreaming about chopping heads of with a sword last night! Grin

I don't have Skyrim yet... :(

And tell him you are NOT helping him cheat, so why doesn't he give you the control, as you worked it out ten minutes before he asked for help... Grin

Chocobo · 10/01/2012 21:33

He just shouted at me because I refused to help and told him I had started a thread about him on Mumsnet! I then took pity on him - he was supposed to use his Magelight - the fool!

You're not supposed to tell him... Act dumb a bit, pretend you can't explain it, then get the remote and start using the proper terminology... Works a treat...

Eg:
Oh, you need to press the thingy button and get the whatsit up. No, not that. Oh, I can't remember what it's called. Let me just do it for you, and then you can remind me what it's called. AS if you didn't work out that you need the Magelight here? Best let me take over now...

Grin

It's worked many a time for me, whilst dealing with DB, who refused to believe I'd know anything about Dead Rising...

Chocobo · 10/01/2012 21:39

HeHe will try that next time DontCallMFrothyDragon - also please don't hold it against me that I am now the slayer of many dragons! Grin

I'll try and forgive you... Were any of them Frothy Dragons?

Chocobo · 10/01/2012 21:46

Fortunately not. Hope you get Skyrim soon!

Tbh, if you are both gamers, I would be wanting to buy a second PS3 between you and make him buy his own copy of Skyrim. I am not into PS3 but we have more than one computer in the house as we would be killing each other if we only had one and had to wait around while the other (or the children for that matter) was using it. My parents had to do the same as every time my mum got on their desktop, my dad would be hovering around anxiously asking her how long she was going to be and could he just check his emails etc

I used to play SNES and no way would I have let anyone play a game I had for Christmas before me!
