having read and contributed to a recent threat about water park log flumes which made me laugh so much i sounded like MUTLEY... I have decided that the world would be a better place if we all had a laugh every day. AIBU?
what would make you laugh?
what would make you forget your troubles even for the 10 mins it takes to read a post?

I agree and that is one of the reasons I teach! The children are so incredibly funny and effervescent!

Cherries is right, my job also provides giggles on a daily basis, it makes up for the stressy parts.

funnily enough... i have just started working with children and find that they are just so fantastic. i'm with littlies and just love watching thier brains work as they grasp something new. very fulfilling

But i do like a good belly laugh and you cant really do that in front of the child since you have to maintain thier self esteem.

My favourite story that makes me laugh about my dd is.....

Walking along the road, i said... 'dd dont step in that muck' (dog muck)
she said 'what muck?'
I said 'that muck there'
she said 'what muck where?'

i was getting a bit hysterical at this point - hate dog poo - and she walked over to it, inspected it, and declared....

oh mummy thats not muck its dog poo!

i laughed so much i forgot to be stressy about the muck!

Is it actually possible not to laugh every day if you have dcs? I don't have any but spend a lot of time with other people's and they crack me up! Grin
