My nephew left his present here xmas day , still here now. Would you have expected them to collect it or is it really an unwanted gift ?

It is only a week - maybe they are busy? It is likely to be parents who dictate when the gift can be collected, not the child.

Lueji · 02/01/2012 23:17

Are you sure it wasn't just forgotten among many other gifts?

Winkly · 02/01/2012 23:19

Maybe they forgot about it, and have a thread going "aibu to be cross that my aunt didn't get me a Christmas present?"

Just remind him.

Haziedoll · 02/01/2012 23:19

How far away are they?

Lilyloo · 02/01/2012 23:20

reminder sent 5 min via car

When did you send the reminder? This is a very busy time of year and with the amount of presents knocking about, collecting it may be a low priority but doesn't mean it wasn't appreciated.

It would annoy me.

I have stopped buying for some relatives because they never wanted to
make arrangements to exchange presents.
