This may sound daft but I was thinking about the MNer with the pet Raven last week and I began to really fret about how she kept him safe from cats. I am too stupid to remember her her name though. Anyone know?

Actually that is not all.

I often wonder if anyone I know has read any of my threads and knows me in RL but hasn't said anything. I often start off being discreet and coy and then by the end of the thread I've practically given out my address

FailCat is called that because he is the daftest, clumsiest, most idiotic cat I have ever known. His real name is Desmond, but everyone calls him FailCat. He's FailCat on FB, FailCat on Twitter, and all round FailCat to the family. He's a fat, very noisy tabby with a tendency to creep up and shout loudly in one's ear.

What was next? Oh bedlinen - twice a week, I have a thing about clean bedding, DD2 does hers once a week, because she is more normal than me. I wash towels after 1 day too, and bathrobes go in with the bedlinen.

DD1 has her own flat, it's more convenient for her during the week as she can walk to school and throw lots of parties. She officially lives there, and unofficially quite a few of her friends seem to live there too. I see it as a natural progression to them mostly sleeping in my basement/in the top floor bedrooms. She is always home 2 or 3 nights a week though.

I really miss her. I'm sort of convincing myself it is good practice for Uni. :(

That makes sense. I would have loved my own flat when I was in sixth form; it would have been a booze-soaked hole, though, so probably just as well I lived at home!
