This may sound daft but I was thinking about the MNer with the pet Raven last week and I began to really fret about how she kept him safe from cats. I am too stupid to remember her her name though. Anyone know?

Mortimer likes toes too. He pecks crossly at shoes, and shiny things - you should see what he's got stashed in his house. He was attacked by 2 dogs at the yard I used to keep my horses at. I got the dogs off him and took him to the vet. Badly broken wing means he will probably never fly. :(

May i suggest to anyone wanting a Mortimer that they consider a budgie ? The make such nice pets and are very good at shoulder sitting and looking cute. Although mine does also run away with shiny things which can be problematic.
