I bought it with some of my Xmas money(of which I don't spend a lot on me).It was a gorgeous Emma Ball seaside one.Very expensive and lovely paper.

Was looking forward to getting organised tonight and writing up all the bdays, school dates etc.Now my whole system is ruined.

He hasn't even apologised.

It had seagulls on and everything.I now have to live with his scrawl on my calendar all January.Angry

Depends - what did he write?

thepeoplesprincess · 01/01/2012 17:17

Was it a reminder for Steak and BJ day? If not, then YABU.

blackeyedsanta · 01/01/2012 17:17

yadnbu. h used to do that when he lived here. drove me mad. the clue is in the MY calendar. therefore ask. if it was OUR calendar, fair enough!

Catsmamma · 01/01/2012 17:19

did he write in pen??

DartsAgain · 01/01/2012 17:20

YABU.

I have only one place I can put a calendar, and we all need to know what each other is doing, so if DP has something to note that I need to know I'd rather he put it on the calendar. In any case, his writing is far neater than mine Grin

MrsHeffley · 01/01/2012 17:21

Dates he hasn't checked eg term dates which could highly likely be incorrect. He has a work diary to put those in and he put them in the column I use for bdays.

I like to get school calendar out and plot term dates, bdays etc(I even have a colour system).Yes I need to get out more but in no spend January we have to get our thrills where we can.

YANBU!
I love my calendar! Its all organised in my nice neat handwriting and colour coded Blush !
If dh ever dared to write on my calendar...........I can't even think about what I would do to him, I'd be so bloody angry!!!! Angry
It is funny though, I'm not like this about anything else! Grin

Shutupanddrive · 01/01/2012 17:34

kill leave the bastard

MrsHeffley · 01/01/2012 17:40

He's currently fixing a drawer I've been asking to be fixed for ages(guilt methinks)so it's a tough call.

YADNBU

You might as well give up on the year now, tbh, it's all gone to shit already. Sad for you

Stropzilla · 01/01/2012 17:43

YANBU! DH tells me if there's something to go on MY calendar, and I put it on there. Ban him from holding a pen in the house ever again! How are you meant to live like that??

Pandemoniaa · 01/01/2012 17:44
Kayzr · 01/01/2012 17:44

YANBU if DP wrote on my calendar I wouldn't be happy.

MrsHeffley · 01/01/2012 17:44

Seriously how do I get over it?I can't live with these nasty little fizzes of fury I keep feeling every time I look at it all January.

OP posts:
stickyLFDTfingers · 01/01/2012 17:45

kill leave him once you've checked the drawer is properly fixed

boredandrestless · 01/01/2012 17:46

Ah I can add this to my mental list of the positives of being single.

maresedotes · 01/01/2012 17:47

Divorce him.

Alternatively just think that he's only mucked up January so in 30 days you won't have to see it.

ProfessorSunny · 01/01/2012 17:47

bored, it's on my list as well.

WoodyAllenJesus · 01/01/2012 17:48

Yes but January's depressing enough as it is

Still Sad for you

MilkNoSugarPlease · 01/01/2012 17:52

YANBU

If anyone dared to touch my Filofax, blood would be shed :o

maresedotes · 01/01/2012 17:53

True WoodyAllenJesus but I was trying to be positive!

MilkNoSugarPlease · 01/01/2012 17:53

and actually I'd probably cry a little if my DP did that
