Tell him you want to ring in the new year drinking champagne in bed. Then put down the glass and fall asleep. Bam.

Minshu · 31/12/2011 22:55

Do you have DCs likely to get you up early?

Does DH look like he will stay awake to notice? Would match of the day help? My DP is glued to it (no sex here though)

Go to bed!!

ISayHolmes · 31/12/2011 22:56

(put down the glass as soon as you get in bed, is what I mean. Stuff waiting for an hour).

boglach · 31/12/2011 23:08

I think he would notice. he is scottish and expects hogmanay to be a paryy

Not long to wait now! I'm shattered, dp is asleep, but I stupidly promised ds I'd wake him at 12 to see the fireworks...now I have to stay awake! Counting down the final hour of 2011

FestiveFriedaWassailsAgain · 31/12/2011 23:12

Nah, he has had his party by the sounds of it Smile You have done your duty, maybe I would just go upstairs to read in bed for a bit. In the dark.

slowburner · 31/12/2011 23:13

He got what he wanted (and presumably what you wanted to) and now you get to go to bed.

I had 2 ample baileys while waiting for DH to settle DD, I've now had another baileys, shagged DH and can't be bothered with the bubbly, just want my bed so YANBU!

boglach · 31/12/2011 23:13
