Amused2death That's because your thread got moderated and was put a stop to by whoever's in charge over on the PH site?

SuePurblybilt · 02/01/2012 20:31

Never on the buypass, thank you for asking. Only when sitting outside my houce.

Amused2death · 02/01/2012 20:42

@ Pliny, I'm not a member on PH? Are you?

Amused2death · 02/01/2012 20:43

What's the PH site?

SuePurblybilt · 02/01/2012 20:45

You know in those experiments? When the rats can't get out of the maze? And the confusion on their little ratty faces? Sort of slowly dawning panic and befuddled stupidity?

I have that image in my head. No idea why.

toweraboveyou · 02/01/2012 20:50

My advice to car owners btw is to buy a bicycle.

SueP - do you mean that it doesn't smell when moving? Probably a leak from the top of the fuel tank. There's usually an access hatch on top for the pump and sensor. Or it may be a leaking fuel hose.

May really be worth getting looked at. If you are in buckinghamshire DH would do it for you.

MN member not PH member btw

Get0rf · 02/01/2012 20:56

Reminds me of that comment about Peter Andre - 'malevolent in the way that only deeply stupid men can be'

SuePurblybilt · 02/01/2012 20:57

Was that one of yours or mine Getorf?

Thank you Norma, I will have to have someone come and prod it I think. Fecking cars.

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 02/01/2012 20:59

I have gone menthol, I think

hey, baubles, me ole mucker

you are nice percon, aintcha ?

have you come over from the dark cide to the light ?

you see ? first look at a couple of silly piccies < grin >

look a bit closer...it's not so funny any more

and nobody has told me why my car steams up all the time

Pliny · 02/01/2012 20:59

Not anymore.

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 02/01/2012 21:03

AF you are having too much sex in it Grin

Get0rf · 02/01/2012 21:04

Someone diagnosed your car prob upthread anyf - christine at 20:19

BaublesandCuntingCarolSingers · 02/01/2012 21:04

Oh I dunno. I was Shock at the black lady one and Hmm at some of the others. I still think that the two I said were genuinely funny. Probably because they were the most harmless. I would probably wee myself if someone did a picture of me, just a massive fringe and a massive konk. But then I am a BASTARD.

Stop breathing out of your mouth. Car will stop steaming up, babe.

yellowraincoat · 02/01/2012 21:07

Someone get me to a hospital, because my sense of humour has obviously failed.

What's funny about spending hours of your time taking the piss out of how someone looks?

yellowraincoat · 02/01/2012 21:09

Oh and seriously, the one where the black woman has just been painted black with minimal features? Just racist.

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 02/01/2012 21:13

no !

I have never had sex in this any car !

what do you take me for !

< scrolls back to find the answer >

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 02/01/2012 21:15

ok, it's my blower

right

wtf do I do about it ?

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 02/01/2012 21:16

I am a mouth breather

I also lick windows

I'm doing it wrong, aren't I ?

NormaStanleyFletcher · 02/01/2012 21:17

But AF - the blower is the cure not the cause - if it is all misted up then it means the inside of your car is a bit - erm - damp. Moist?

That is the cause.

The cure is a better blower.

Do you have aircon? Aircon v v good for getting rid of misted up ness (technical)

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 02/01/2012 21:23

yes,I have aircon

but ain't it a bit cold for that, it being january 'n' all ?

< sorry about the accent, I am watching "My Name is Earl" >

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 02/01/2012 21:24

actually, the carpet on the passenger side gets wet on occasion

WoundUpLeaf · 02/01/2012 21:26

Pliny - it wasn't my intent at all to lecture or compare their actions to wider conflict, sorry if it came across that way. What I was trying to express was that the act of deriding them won't have any impact - as proven by some of the comments on ph that they have made dismissing the validity of your view. You dismiss their view as invalid and they automatically do the same to you as it is too far removed from their sphere or reference.

I also take the point about racism being democratically deemed as inappropriate, however setting that point and the related pictures aside why is the automatic assumption that it is offensive made? Surely the right to be offended is primarily down to the individual who has been targeted.

I detest bullying in all formats and sadly speak from experience, however I don't understand all forms of humour and therefore don't feel qualified to automatically categorise humour as offensive unless I can see an offended party. They may well be offended and if that is the case, I'd more than happily light your pitchfork. However, I'm equally wary of being one of the 'perpetually offended' that seem to cause the daily mail to thrive.

WoundUpLeaf · 02/01/2012 21:30

Oh and re: car. Air con can be used at any temp, when you combine it with hot heater settings it has a pretty effective dehumidifying effect. Should help - moisture will cause things to steam up so damp carpets cause all sorts of problems for months. Only trouble is air con reduces fuel economy...

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 02/01/2012 21:30

I am offended

could you spare a thought for me and my wet carpet ?
