AIBU about the scheduling of The Big Bang Theory on Channel Four?

AIBU to suggest that Hollyoaks should be given regular hiatus' in order to have The Big Bang Theory (TBBT) on instead?
And ,because I nearly missed it todsy, that at the moment it should be on the same time?

Hollyoaks is rubbish, TBBT is excellent.

But I got the boxset for Xmas so I can have it on constantly if I wish!

TBBT is a load of bollocks, with 'jokes' that are just people saying obscure references in 'nerdy' voices. Hollyoaks is no better, mind you.

TBBT is witty and clever where as Hollyoaks is just pretty people and rubbish plots. Surely TBBT is better than that?

My Xmas was like an episode of BBT (always is when my son & his Dad are together) - I love it and ddn't know you could get it on DVD. Deffo one for next years Xmas list ; )

Like only fools & horses, Desmonds & many other really funny comedys it's based on just a smidgen of truth, so is hysterically funny or those who have experienced similar characters/situations in RL. My lad is a 7 year old "Sheldon", so I love it, so do the extended family of his best friend & his Granny.

YANBU - Hollyoaks is pure tripe. BBT is pretty rare in it's sheer class in an age when comedy seems to have sunk to the lowest common demoninator.

Hollyoaks has good storylines aimed at teenagers. If you have/work with teenagers it is a good starting point for discussions. The storylines are well constructed and acted to suit its target audience. Like all of the soaps Hollyoaks has been building a storyline to end around Christmas/New Year.

Why should a regular soap with good viewing figures be moved, when TBBT is out on dvd?

Sheldon isn't in Hollyoaks though.

I used to tut at DH watching it but I have been sucked in now. Better then Friends IMO.
