do I go for the baileys, book and very looong bubble bath that I really want to, or be saintly and finish the washing up and tidying up?

I read stories kissed and tucked them in their beds, well the 3 and 5 yo's are the 7 yo is making lego star wars battles in his room but he is happy enough. But although they are basically good and sweet children they have been ratty, moany and snotty (literally and behaviourly in 3 yo case especially) and right now the new school term could not possibly start soon enough! I am sure I will love them dearly once they are all sleeping soundly and looking angelic again.

BAth & book & baileys!
Plan some fun activities until term starts again, it's a big shame not to enjoy hols with your kids!

Thank you - I am hoping dh will at least do the washing up but only if I instruct or nag him it will be studiously ignored not noticed, which makes be tired.

But yes I have a bag of ice and a bubble bath calling me and I will lose the tension headache and gain a hang over in the morning. Yay! Wink

The hols have been good up to today btw just weather and snotty todller kept us in - despite that I did make a ginger bread village and a set of plaster mermaids and fairy's with them it just involved a lot of whingeing and moaning and telling off as well - very tiring and such a shame that they all had to get out of the wrong side of the bed on the same day!
